What We Do

A stronger finance function, built for what's ahead.

We help companies strengthen the strategic finance function — the planning, forecasting, and analysis that leadership runs the business on. Growth rarely arrives in a straight line. We help you plan and execute through it: reading the risks early, moving on the opportunities, and keeping the numbers honest while the ground shifts.

Part of that is modernizing how the function works. We bring AI into planning, forecasting, and analysis where it earns its place — faster cycles, sharper scenarios, less time spent assembling numbers and more spent deciding what they mean. Used well, it makes a finance team's judgment go further, not louder.

We also do the work that arrives at the harder moments: restructuring the capital base when the current one no longer fits, and preparing for and executing an equity sale — the 18-to-24-month window where value is built ahead of a transaction, then carried through the process to close.

How We Engage

A small book. Direct involvement.

Engagements are direct, and scope is built around what the company actually needs right now — not a package you have to fit into.

Most engagements run on a defined retainer, sized to the rhythm of the work. Some are project-shaped: a fundraise, an exit preparation, an interim seat during a CFO search. We keep the book small on purpose, so we can give each client the focus it requires to make a real difference.

The Work

Where we tend to add the most value

Engagements are scoped to the company, so no two are identical. But a few examples give the shape of it — most of it strategic finance and planning, which is the spine of the work, with capital and special-situations work as well.

Strategic finance and planning

  • Owning the annual budget and the rolling 12-to-18-month forecast — the operating numbers the leadership team actually runs on.
  • Building a 3-to-5-year strategic model: driver-based, with best, base, and worst cases the board can pressure-test.
  • A monthly board and investor pack with written commentary — what moved, why, and what it means — not just a deck of figures.

Capital and fundraising

  • Getting a company ready to raise: the financial story, the model, and the data room, built before the process starts.
  • Sitting on your side of the table for term-sheet review and negotiation.

Special situations

  • Exit readiness: the 18-to-24-month window where value is built before a sale, not discovered during one.
  • Interim CFO coverage to hold the seat during a search.

These are examples, not a menu. The work starts from what your company needs, not from this list.

Who This Is For

You need a CFO at the table.

This is for companies in a growth or transition moment. A fundraise on the horizon. Board pressure tightening. An exit window opening. A founder carrying the financial story alongside everything else, ready to hand part of it to someone who has done it before.

If you need routine bookkeeping, monthly close, tax filing, or controller work, let's talk — we can help you build the right team for what you need.
